Bangladesh Army has show interest of purchasing J17 Thunder from Pakistan.

A rare and surprising visit by a second top-ranked official of the Bangladesh Army in Pakistan held at a meeting with COAS Asim Munir. Since the departure of Hasina Wajid last year, Bangladesh has been looking for loyal allies and has given a neutral stance to India by not putting all the eggs in their basket. There has been a shift in diplomacy as well as the financial stance of Bangladesh, which has been officially welcomed by Pakistan.

Bangladesh Army official Lt-Gen Quamrul Hassan discussed mutual interest and how to strengthen coordination and ties between both countries during his meeting with COAS. Moreover, Pakistan's Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad also held a meeting with Lt-Gen Quamrul Hassan to discuss how to strengthen military ties.

After a brief visit, Lt-Gen Quamrul Hassan, during his visit to Pakistan, shown his strong interest in purchasing the JF-17 Thunder from Pakistan soon. It was also reported that both officials will focus on improving military cooperation and enhancing bilateral relations.
