As we have reported earlier, FBR is facing a massive shortfall in their revenue collection; therefore, now NHA has once again raised the price for tolls. It is the third time in seven months that NHA has raised the price of tolls due to the failure of FBR to collect desired revenue targets.
The NHA's target is to collect 102 billion PKR during this fiscal year, and they are short of their target; that is why they have raised the price for the 3rd time in seven months. Compared to the previous year, NHA collected 64 billion rupees.
Rates will be effective from January 5th, 2025.
For M-1 (Islamabad to Peshawar), cars would have to pay 500 PKR, an increase of 40 Rupees, as the previous rate was 460 PKR. Wagons had to have to pay 750 PKR, an increase of 30 PKR, as the previous rate was 730 PKR. Bus rates are increased to 1450 PKR, an increase of 150 PKR, as the previous rate was 1300 PKR, and truck prices increase to 2300, an increase of 350 PKR, as the previous rate was 1900 PKR.
For the national highway, the tool price for cars is now 60 PKR, an increase of 10 PKR, as the previous rate was 50 PKR. The tolls for wagons increased to PKR 70, an increase of 30 PKR, as the previous rate was 70 PKR, and the toll for buses increases to 200 PKR, an increase of 30 PKR, as the previous rate was PKR 170.
For M-3 (Lahore-Abdul Hakeem), the car will pay for the tool 750 PKR, an increase of 50 PKR, as the previous rate was 650 PKR.
For M-4 (Pindi Bhattian-Faisalabad-Multan), the car will pay for the tool 950 PKR, an increase of PKR 100, as the previous rate was 850 PKR.
M-5 (Sukkur-Multan) Car will pay for tool 1050, an increase of 50 PKR, as the previous rate was 1050 PKR.
M-14 (Dera Ismail Khan-Hakla) Car will now pay 600 PK
